AOC has a new monitor for budget-conscious gamers. The 24.5″ TN LCD-based FullHD G2790PX has support for 144Hz operation and has a claimed 1ms response time. Brightness is 400 cd/m² and viewing angles are 170º/160º. The design is ‘three side frameless’ and has VGA, DisplayPort 1.2 and 2 x HDMI 1.4 display inputs.
The monitor costs £219 in the UK ($243 + tax). It is available now.
