Click to enlargeAnalogix has launched a new DisplayPort chip series called the ANX7440/30 family. It is an integrated solution capable of switching DisplayPort 1.3 and 1.4 at 8.1Gbps and USB 3.1 (Gen 2) 10Gbps signals to support a single USB-C port. The family includes the ANX7440 (for DisplayPort over USB-C) and ANX7430 (for USB 3.1 Gen 2 USB-C ports). Both chips feature an integrated 10Gbps re-timer and USB-C switch.
Analogix will begin providing samples of the ANX7440/30 family in Q4, with mass production in Q2’17.
