Amazon Working on Wearable Alexa

Amazon is reported by the FT to be working on a version of its Echo devices that would be like a pair of smart glasses and would support the Alexa voice assistant. Amazon wouldn’t comment, but the idea is to use bone-conduction audio to allow the headset to deliver audio without the need for earphones. The headset would connect to a smartphone using Bluetooth. The FT noted that a number of people previously working at Google on the Glass project, including Babak Parviz, founder of Google Glass, have moved to Amazon over the last three years.
