To be fair to the title, Amazon is saying today that sales of its Fire TV streaming devices and smart TVs are over 200 million units. It was 150 million Fire TV devices sold in January 2022. The company lead with that nice tidbit, maybe to justify getting into smart TVs in a bigger way like, we can do it, you know we can.
