Several new distribution and control products were shown by Wyrestorm, focusing on the UltraHD format. All units are scheduled to be shipped in Q4.
The MX-0808-4K is an 8×8 HDMI-to-HDMI matrix switcher, set to cost $5,000. It was joined by two 8×8 HDBaseT switchera (MX-0808-PP-POH-4K), able to send signals up to 70m/100m. UltraHD is supported at 30Hz with 4:4:4 subsampling or 60Hz with 4:2:0. The switcher will be launched for $10,000.
Next were the SP-0104-4K and SP-0108-4K HDMI-to-HDMI splitters, sending UltraHD content to 4 or 8 displays. The splitters have a slim (18mm) profile. The final products were two HDBaseT extenders, sending content 70m (EX-70-4K / RX-70-4K) or 100m (EX-100-4K / RX-100-4K).
