Technology Exposed will take place this month. Always a great event for the FPD trade, this year will see the UK introductions of a number of products launched at IFA, as well as some brand new units.
Aten will show a 16×16 matrix switcher, for professional AV use.
New projectors will be shown by Canon, but the company is being close-mouthed about specifics.
LG’s 98″ UltraHD TV – which was shown at CES this year (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 3) – will be on display, alongside the 34″ widescreen 34UC97 monitor.
Panasonic will show a hybrid laser-LED projector. The PT-EZ770 (also the name of a projector series launched last year, in Display Monitor Vol 20 No 36) provides up to 6,500 lumens of brightness and 1920 x 1200 resolution. Two other solid-state projectors, the PT-RZ670 (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 6) and PT-RZ470 (Display Monitor Vol 19 No 24), will also be on show.
An 84″ UltraHD display, first seen at NAB (Display Monitor Vol 21 No 15), will join the projectors on the show floor.
A large (85″) UltraHD, HighBright display will be shown by Samsung.
Sony will exhibit a new 55″ UltraHD Bravia TV.
