Barco plans to demonstrate its new Orion Cinemascope home projector – an HDBaseT model to mark the company’s entry into the HDBaseT Alliance.
The Orion Cinemascope combines 2560 x 1080 resolution, a 1DLP chip, 3D and high framerates (Barco did not provide an exact figure). It is a lamp-based model that can be positioned up to 100m from the source equipment, thanks to the HDBaseT technology.
Barco also launched a new group called Barco Residential, which will introduce a line of home entertainment products this year.
