Subject to the approval of AT&T’s acquisition of Time Warner, Comcast is apparently prepared to pay $60 billion in cash to acquire most of 21st Century Fox’s assets, including a 100% share of Sky, according to Reuters. Disney previously put in an offer of $52 billion. Reuters has surmised that if the two companies get into a bidding war, Comcast’s offer could be pushed towards the $100 billion mark. It’s believed that, if the US administration rejects AT&T’s buyout of Time Warner, Comcast will withdraw its offer.
