Intel SSDs Crashing On New Version of Windows 10

Windows 10 users with Intel SSDs are being advised not to update to the latest version 1803, which began rolling out on April 30th. Those who have received the update already have been subject to a UEFI boot-loop or continual crashes.

Until such time as the issue is fixed, users are being advised to roll back to the previous version, 1709. Anyone running an Intel SSD who hasn’t yet received the update won’t be able to install it until it is functioning properly on their devices. No further information regarding the bug itself or the specific models of SSD affected have been made available.
