SunScreen Display Technologies LLC of Orange County California has an Indiegogo launch that is promoting a sunlight-readable display that can be used to display content from a smartphone, a laptop, a camera viewfinder or a drone. As well as supporting HDMI, the display can be used wirelessly from smartphones or other devices. An optional battery pack is available on the Indiegogo site. At press time, the company had $5000 of funding from a $25,000 target.
There’s a video on the company’s website that shows a comparison with a ‘high end’ tablet display. Few technical details were available at press time.
