Nintendo Switch Beats Targets

Due to short supply of Nintendo’s Switch consoles, the company is ramping up production to 16 million units over the next 12 months, although the original plan was for only 8 million units. When the Nintendo Switch was launched, more than 300,000 units were sold in just three days in Japan alone. The success is thought to be as a result of launching the console with the successful game “Zelda: Breath of the Wild”.

The firm sold more than 300,000 units of the gaming console in just three days in Japan alone. Nintendo was planning to sell 2 million consoles this month, but according to SuperData, 1.5 million units were already sold within the first two weeks of March, so it looks as though Nintendo will easily beat its launch target. The only place you can still buy a unit is said to be in France on Amazon.
