Mitsubishi Electric has said that it is about to launch 7.0″ and 8.0″ versions of its Tough Series of LCD modules that are for use in construction, agricultural vehicles and factories as they are resistant to vibration at up to 6.8g as well as supporting an operating temperature range of -40ºC to +85ºC. Brightness is 1,100 cd/m² and 1,000 cd/m², respectively. The company said that samples would be available from the end of March.
