MMD has announced a new monitor, the 245C7QJSB, that is part of the Moda ‘design’ series and has narrow bezels on three sides. The thickness is just 5.2mm and the outer bezel on the three narrow sides is 2.5mm. The unit has a 23.8″ 1920 x 1080 IPS display with 5ms response (G2G), 250 cd/m² of output and 1,000:1 native contrast. Features include Flicker-Free technology (regulating brightness for a steadier picture), SmartContrast and SmartImage (which auto-adjust settings to the content being displayed). Inputs include VGA, DisplayPort 1.2 and HDMI. Power consumption is 13.65W (typical) using the Energy Star 7.0 test method.
The monitor has wide colour gamut, described as 101.4% of NTSC
