Rimmel, a popular brand of make-up in the UK and owned by Coty, has developed an A/R app that allows users to “steal the look” from friends or from photos. The aim is to match the image with Rimmel products and allow a ‘preview’ using ‘mirror’ technology in the app before purchasing.
The app, which was released a little while ago, was developed by Holition and is aimed at make-up users from 15 to 25 who are described as ‘more experimental’.
