Microsoft is rumoured to be about to present a new addition to its Surface family next month, possibly in New York on the 26th. An all-in-one Surface desktop PC, codenamed Cardinal, is said to be designed to compete against Apple’s iMac. It is believed that Cardinal will be available in three screen sizes: 21″ 1080 FullHD, 24″ 4K and 27″ 4K, with the same Perceptive Pixel technology as in the Surface Hub.
The event could also be used to unveil the Surface phone and updates to Microsoft’s Surface tablets, but probably these will be launched next year
