ABOX42 is set to unveil its new Smart STB platform M30 at IBC 2016, that will take place in Amsterdam from 8th to 12th September 2016. The STB has a built-in Smart Home Gateway for advanced operator projects and allows the operator to combine classical TV services with new Smart Home services. Communication interfaces for the M30 supports Thread, RF4CE and Wifi extensions, radio package supports ZigBee 3.0 standard. The STB also has a 5000 DMIPS and a dual core ARM process and can decode HEVC at 60fps.
