Atlona’s new distribution amplifier is an eight-output unit capable of handling up to DCI-4k signals. It takes one U of rack space.
The AT-UHD-CAT-8 features HDMI-to-HDBaseT distribution of DCI-4k at 60Hz, using 8-bit colour and 4:2:0 subsampling. 10- and 12-bit colour and 4:2:2/4:4:4 subsampling are also supported. The unit can send signals up to 70m, with HDCP 2.2 support and power over ethernet. EDID management is also built in.
In addition to the HDBaseT-out, the amplifier also features an HDMI output, for signal pass-through and daisy-chaining. It also features IR and RS232 interfaces.
Atlona is shipping its new amplifier now.
