MPEG LA has updated its HEVC and DisplayPort patent licences, to reflect recent revisions.
The HEVC Patent Portfolio License now conforms with recent updates to the HEVC standard, as defined in Recommendation ITU-T H.265 v3 (4/2015). In addition to existing coverage, the Licence now covers the 3D Main profile. Royalty rates are unchanged.
MPEG has also updated the coverage of its DisplayPort Patent Portfolio License, to include the VESA DisplayPort Standard v1.4 (March 2016).
