TCL has introduced its new QD-MiniLED TV line, which includes the QM7 and QM8 series, boasting advanced features such as over 5,000 dimming zones, brightness up to 5,000 peak nits, and 97%+ of the DCI-P3 color gamut. These TVs leverage TCL’s self-developed optical technology and AiPQ Pro and Ultra processing. The development takes place in TCL’s Pangu Laboratory in China, which the company claims is the only facility of its kind dedicated to the full process development of MiniLED technology. The lab focuses on several advanced technologies including the HEXA MiniLED Chip, UWA optical lens, and ODR LED technology.
The QM7 series is available in sizes from 55″ to 98″ with prices ranging from $1099.99 to $6999.99. The QM8 series, offering more premium options, ranges from 65″ to 98″, priced from $1999.99 to $7999.99. The flagship 115″ model from the QM8 series will be sold for $26,999.99. TCL emphasizes that its QD-MiniLED technology is differentiating itself from both standard MiniLED and OLED TVs with the quality and image performance to make a better value proposition.
