While Google Glass is still in extended beta release for consumers, the corporate world seems to take much more positively to augmented reality. The latest announcement shows Google Glass being used in the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco.
Antenna International together with the Fine Arts Museum has announced the first use of Google Glass in a major arts museum. Antenna International said “Utilizing Google Glass as an interpretive platform in museums introduces an exciting and truly hands-free approach to cultural touring”.
The visitor wearing the augmented reality headset sees scenes from the life of the artist relating to every art piece he encounters. The artist is Keith Haring and the exhibition is called The Political Line.
