LG Electronics has announced the appointment of new executives to lead the LG Home Entertainment and LG Mobile Communications companies. Juno Cho, who currently serves as president of the holding company LG Corp. will take on the role of president and CEO of LG’s mobile business with Dr. Jong-seok Park moving into the newly created position of chief technology advisor. The home entertainment unit will be led by Bong-suk Kwon, head of the Synergy Division of LG Corp. who has been promoted to executive VP and CEO. Kwon was previously responsible for the company’s monitor business.
