3,000 Employees to Leave HP Inc

HP

HP Inc. is accelerating its restructuring programme, and now expects about 3,000 employees to leave by the end of its current fiscal year – not over three years, as had previously been announced (HP to Cut 10% of Workforce).

Up to 3,300 of the 30,000 employees to leave were to come from HP Inc., with 1,200 leaving this year, under the original plan.

Reuters, the source of the news, did not say why HP Inc. had decided to acclerate its reorganisation. The restructuring will result in cash payments of about $300 million this year.
