A new LG monitor has appeared on the company’s Australian website, with no accompanying announcement. The page is currently pretty sparse, with only the key features of the monitor listed. It is a 27″ unit with UltraHD resolution and is called the 27UM67.
As well as 99% sRGB coverage, an IPS panel and 10-bit colour display, the monitor supports AMD’s Freesync anti-tearing technology. It features DisplayPort, mini-DisplayPort and HDMI (x2) connections – all four of which can be employed for four-way split-screen.
LG lists a Game Mode among the monitor’s features, so it is likely targeted at gamers. However, there has been no information on refresh rates yet.
The 27UM67 is listed at AUD730 ($565), but this may not be its final price.
