Concept International of Germany is now selling the On-Lap 1303, a new USB monitor (which we think may come from GeChic of Taiwan). The monitor has a 13.3″ FullHD panel using IPS and with 300 (250 with touch) cd/m² of brightness. Contrast is 700:1 and response time is 14ms. Unusually, the monitor is available with a 10 point procap touch option. Weight is 920gms including a cover and without touch, which increases to 1,220 gms with touch. As well as power from USB, the monitor can take HDMI, VGA or DisplayPort inputs.
As well as notebook expansion, Concept expects applications in digital signage and point of sale.
