Xencelabs unveiled the Pen Display 24 at the Game Developers Conference in March 2023 and plans to showcase the product at various events throughout the year.
The Pen Display 24, developed in collaboration with over 100 professional creatives, offers improved productivity and customization for artists and designers. An augmented reality (AR) technology experience is available to simulate the display in users’ workspaces. The Pen Display 24 is compatible with Mac, PC, and Linux systems and is available for pre-order, with prices starting at $1,899, £1,850, and €2,099. The product is set to launch in the second quarter of 2023.

The Xencelabs Pen Display 24 Feature Set
The Xencelabs Pen Display 24 offers various features to enhance the creative workflow. It includes enhanced glare reduction and fingerprint resistance due to its Super-AG Etching technology. The device boasts an edge-to-edge drawing surface for a seamless and uninterrupted drawing experience, providing a natural drawing feel with its etched glass screen.
Two pen sizes are provided to accommodate different hand sizes and preferences. The pens are customizable to match users’ preferred sensitivity and initial activation pressure. The display’s pressure curve is finely tuned for optimal responsiveness and accuracy. The Pen Display 24 delivers 1.07 billion colors for accurate color reproduction and supports a 4K UHD resolution of up to 3840×2160. It also supports six industry-standard color spaces and is Pantone Validated, ensuring faithful color reproduction.
The Xencelabs Pen Display 24 comes with the Xencelabs Quick Keys, which can be attached anywhere on the side of the display for increased productivity. These Quick Keys offer an easy-to-use interface for incorporating shortcut keys into the artist’s workflow. Users can access settings via three programmable LED buttons on top of the display.
Ergonomically, the Pen Display 24 includes a Tilt Stand that allows for easy angle adjustment between 16 and 72 degrees. A standard VESA mount (100x100mm) enables compatibility with additional stand options, such as an arm, without the need for an adapter. The device is designed for silent and fanless operation, using a magnesium alloy rear housing for heat dissipation.
