Withings, which is now owned by Nokia, has released the Activité Steel watch, a fitness tracker that has a simple analogue face and works with an app on a smartphone to track activity. The watch is powered for up to 8 months by a CR2025 button cell. There are black and white models and nine coloured straps. The watch costs $149.99.
The company is also working on the Steel HR which adds heart rate tracking and call notifications via a small integrated round display and costs $199 (40mm) or $179 (36mm). Battery life is up to 25 days and the watch is waterproof. It will be available later this year.
