Augmented reality (AR) smart glasses provider Vuzix has joined forces with ASK Corporation. The Tokyo-based IT equipment distributor will distribute Vuzix’s AR products across Japan, meeting a large volume purchase order and kick-starting this partnership.
ASK is set to collaborate with Vuzix’s existing partners in Japan to amplify the distribution network. This collaboration is expected to improve the availability of Vuzix’s AR glasses across the nation, reaching a larger pool of potential users.
The partnership will also work on increasing Vuzix’s brand visibility in the Japanese market. Local distribution should help identify and capitalize on untapped business prospects in Japan with the end goal being to create customized AR solutions to meet local demand.
