As well as Vodafone’s TV customer base in Spain growing to 1.3 million, the company’s fully integrated fixed, mobile and TV service, Vodafone One, ended 2016 with 2.1 million customers, up from 1.1 million a year earlier. In other markets, Vodafone saw continued growth in its DSL and cable business in Germany for the third quarter ending in December last year.
The number of broadband customers for Vodafone, increased by 110,000 (92,000 in Q2), of which 77,000 were on cable and the remainder on DSL.
The company’s coaxial fibre network reached over 6 million households out of its 14 million next generation network footprint with speeds of up to 400 Mbit/s, as well as supplying TV to 7.8 million customers.
