BenQ announced the e-Sports monitors RL2455T and RL2755 which will be sold through ‘Zowie’ retailers. BenQ gave away few details but said that they are upgrades to the existing RL2455 and RL2755 monitors and now have adjustable stands. (we’re all for artistic licence, but the strange crop in BenQ’s PR photo doesn’t add much! – Man. Ed.)

Lenovo has now started shipping the X1 Yoga notebook which has either an OLED or LCD display with 2560 x 1440 resolution or a FullHD touch LCD. The OLED verson costs $125 more than the LCD unit and although we heard that there are shortages of OLEDs for notebooks at the moment, the product is available for shipment shortly on Lenovo.com. It is also shipping the Yoga 520 (known in the US as the Flex 5).

Lenovo also launched the ThinkStation P320 Tiny workstation which has a 1 litre form factor and can support Nvidia Quadro P600 graphics. The system uses Intel processors up to 7th generation Intel Core i7 vPro and has memory up to 32GB. The system can support up to 6 displays with four mini-DisplayPorts and two full sized DisplayPorts. It is certified for a range of professional applications. ThinkStation P320 Tiny is available now starting at $799 and is also available under the Lenovo ‘PC as a service’ offer.

Vizio has said that the 2017 Vizio SmartCast M-Series and P-Series UltraHD TVs are now available in retail stores in the US. (Vizio Updates P- and M-Series for 2017)

Sony US has launched the X690E (direct backlight) and X720E (edge backlight) series of LCD TVs. They support UltraHD but dispense with support for Android. There are three HDMI ports and integrated apps for Netflix and YouTube as well as support for HDR. The X720E is available in June, the X690E series will arrive in August. Pricing is
