ViewSonic has launched the ViewBoard IFP52-2 series, certified under the Android Enterprise Devices Licensing Agreement (EDLA). This addition completes ViewSonic’s lineup of EDLA-certified solutions, with the company claiming that it is the first in the industry to achieve Android EDLA certification across its IFP solutions.
ViewSonic’s lays claim to a comprehensive range of EDLA-certified solutions catering to schools and classrooms worldwide. The ViewBoard IFP52-2 Series, available in 65″, 75″, and 86″ screen sizes, serves as an all-in-one solution adaptable to various classroom setups. For institutions seeking to extend the lifespan of existing hardware, the VPC-A31-O1 slot-in PC module offers an upgrade path, too.
The series provides an upgraded 4K UHD interactive display with an integrated front-facing multimedia soundbar, prominently positioning the Google search bar within its customizable Android 13 launcher. The ViewBoard IFP52-2 Series also caters to the needs of school IT managers and administrators. It streamlines device management and broadcasting while prioritizing the security of teacher, student, and school data. Robust cybersecurity measures, including Google security patches and firmware updates, are a selling point of the series.
The series is set to launch this month, October, 2023, in time for the educational market. Customers in the European Union will also get a complimentary one-year trial of the gamified learning app, Weco Play.
