V-Nova and Presenz said that the firms have worked to combine V-Nova’s point-cloud compression technology with a 6DoF volumetric movie format from Presenz. The Presenz volumetric video format uses 3D assets from CGI animated feature films to create 3D scenes that are uniquely related to the viewer’s viewpoint.
