The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has denied an application by LG Electronics to register the the term QNED as a trademark. The USPTO said that QNED is an acronym for Quantum Nano-emitting Diode, so could not be registered.

Well done the USPTO! As regular readers will know, I really disliked the way that LG tried to hijack this term. (QNED (or not QNED) Again) (BR)
