The UltraHD Forum has signed 15 new members since IBC in September, bringing its total to more than 45 companies. New sign-ups include Broadcom, Sky, Fox, DirecTV, Sigma Designs and Marvell. The first version of the Forum’s guidelines, which will enable operators to deploy UltraHD services with HDR, are currently under review by the members. They are expected to be released before NAB in April. The Forum’s next meeting will take place on the 5th January in Las Vegas.
