UK Picture Quality Complaints Fall to 0

Ofcom

UK regulator Ofcom has said that complaints about picture quality on public broadcasters’ channels have faded to almost nothing – in fact, there have been no complaints in the last three years. Ofcom is currently reviewing its Broadcast TV Technical Codes, but says that there is no need to introduce a code for specific picture grade requirements on these channels. HEVC encoding and UltraHD resolution will also not be covered by the codes – for now, at least.
