UK “May” Give Up DTT

John Whittingdale, the UK’s Culture Secretary, has said that ‘the time may come’ when the country’s DTT spectrum is given over to another service. At a keynote speech to the RTS Cambridge Convention, Whittingdale said, “If we reach the day when IPTV is universal then we need to consider that, but we are a long way from that point”.
