The Ticwatch2 is a new smartwatch that has recently started shipping and was developed by Mobvoi in China (founded in 2012). The watch uses its own operating system (Ticwear OS, now on V3) and has a 400 x 400 1.4″ AMOLED display (287ppi). The 300mAh battery is rated as lasting 1.5 to 2 days of ‘mixed use’ and there is a wireless recharging system that takes 80 minutes to charge the device. The watch has an integrated GPS and a dynamic heart rate monitor as well as a gyrometer and accelerometer. The watch is IP65 water resistant. The processor is an MT2601 that runs at 1.2GHz with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of ROM.
Connectivity is Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.1 and the watch will connect to Android and iOS phones.
