The company is open to customisation for special features or applications.

The resolution of the glasses is 1280 x 720 with a 40º field of view giving a virtual image of 90″ at 10′ There is a 13 megapixel camera and the unit includes the usual gyroscope and accelerometer sensors as well as a flashlight, temperature, brightness and a magnetometer (with other sensors supportable via USB Type-C). The battery has a 2400 mAh capacity and is rated for 8 hours.
An unusual feature is that the lenses are swappable and are photochromic so that they tint adopts to ambient light.

As well as the glasses, ThirdEye has a cloud-based Remote services to help customers develop live assistance applications.
