Phone (2) showcases an iconic design, meticulously engineered with obsessive attention to detail. Building upon the success of its predecessor, Phone (1), Nothing has refined the aesthetics of Phone (2), employing a harmonized and symmetrical approach that takes into account the shapes, colors, positioning, and texture of each component. The result is a device that not only looks visually appealing but also offers an improved ergonomic experience with a 1 mm thinner mid-frame and a pillowed glass back.

One of the key features of Phone (2) is the Glyph Interface, which aims to minimize screen interactions and provide essential information at a glance. This interface allows users to access key information without constantly needing to look at the screen. Additionally, users have the ability to assign personalized light and sound sequences to contacts and apps, enabling them to stay informed without being overwhelmed by notifications. Nothing has further enhanced the Glyph Interface on Phone (2), increasing the number of LED segments to allow for greater customizability and functionality. The Glyph Interface now serves as a visual countdown and progress tracker, and offers additional features such as a volume checker and timer. With Essential Glyph Notifications, users can stay focused on what matters most, as the top-right LED segment remains on until the notification has been addressed.

To complement the mindful design approach, Nothing has introduced Nothing OS 2.0. This operating system focuses on reducing distractions and encouraging intentional smartphone use. The new monochrome layout and the option to remove app labels allow users to navigate their devices with intention, removing visual cues optimized to grab attention. Home and lock screens now feature widgets, providing easy access to key functions without the need to open individual apps. Nothing OS 2.0 empowers users to customize grid design, widget size, and color themes, while also introducing new folder layouts and illustrated covers. With optimized software, app opening speed on Phone (2) is up to twice as fast as that of Phone (1), accompanied by refined transitions and animations.

Phone (2) offers Nothing’s most premium smartphone camera experience to date, featuring a 32 MP front camera and a dual rear camera system with two advanced 50 MP sensors, including an upgraded Sony IMX890 main sensor. The advanced 18-bit Image Signal Processor (ISP) enables Phone (2) to process camera data up to 4,000 times more than its predecessor. The new Advanced HDR algorithm captures intricate details by merging eight frames with varying exposure levels. Motion Capture 2.0, an advanced AI-based technology, ensures precise focus on moving subjects, enabling users to capture every crucial detail in a frame. Phone (2) also enhances video recording capabilities, offering 4K resolution at 60fps on the main rear camera, complemented by built-in electronic image stabilization (EIS) and optical image stabilization (OIS) for flawlessly smooth results. The front camera supports immersive 1080P self-recording at 60fps.

Phone (2) delivers exceptional performance with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform and a 4700 mAh battery, providing users with fast performance and lasting battery life. The device supports fast wired charging, enabling users to reach 50% power in under 20 minutes. Featuring an edge-to-edge 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, Phone (2) offers an immersive visual experience. The adaptive refresh rate ranging from 120Hz to 1Hz ensures optimal power consumption and peak performance without compromising battery life.

In line with Nothing’s commitment to sustainability, Phone (2) incorporates several eco-friendly initiatives. The device achieves a remarkable 5 kg reduction in CO2 compared to its predecessor. Notable sustainability features include the use of 100% recycled aluminum for the mid-frame, buttons, and SIM tray tip, as well as the incorporation of recycled and bio-based materials for 80% of plastic parts. Phone (2) also uses 100% recycled tin on its circuit boards and recycled copper foils for the main board. Over 90% of recycled steel is used for all 28 steel stamping parts, and zero waste from the assembling process ends up in landfills. Additionally, the final assembly plant and the recycled aluminum production plant operate on 100% renewable energy. The packaging of Phone (2) is FSC MIX certified, featuring plastic-free packaging with over 60% recycled fiber.

Phone (2) is available in both white and dark gray, with three variants to choose from: 8GB/128GB ($599 USD, $929 CAD), 12GB/256GB ($699 USD, $999 CAD), and the 12GB/512GB ($799 USD, $1099 CAD).
