Evoke Creative has done a deal with Tesco, the UK’s biggest grocery chain, to supply indoor kiosks for 140 Tesco Extra stores, and for outside kiosks for 30 further stores. The kiosks will allow ‘endless aisle’ sales as the Extra stores are much smaller than most Tesco stores. The screens will also feature paging facilities to allow users to get help from store staff.
We saw several reports of this deal and so have reported it, but several of the links broke when we looked for more details, so we wonder if the company had not had approval from Tesco for the release? We asked Evoke for clarification, but had not had a response at publication time. (BR)
