Telly Begins Shipping Free Dual-Screen 55″ 4K Televisions as Public Beta Program Launches

Telly has commenced shipping its highly anticipated 55″ 4K dual-screen television sets to consumers. The initial wave of recipients has been invited to participate in Telly’s public beta program. Alongside this launch, Telly has announced product advancements, data partnerships, and advertising agreements.

Telly’s dual-screen television offers various features such as voice assistants, motion tracking fitness, video games, and a six-driver integrated Sound by Harman Kardon sound bar. To unlock viewership and ad effectiveness insights, Telly has partnered with Nielsen. Additionally, Telly has secured ad tech integrations with Magnite, Microsoft Advertising, and MNTN.

Telly plans to ship 500,000 free televisions by the end of 2023, with millions more in 2024. Over 250,000 households have registered for a free Telly, reflecting the strong interest from consumers. The registrations align closely with the geographic and ethnic distribution outlined by the US census, with an over-indexing of national average in household income and education. Notably, two-thirds of Telly registrants belong to Gen Z and Millennial households, a demographic increasingly difficult to reach through traditional television advertising.
