Chunghwa Picture Tubes reported revenues up 2.4% MoM, but down 11.7% YoY in May. The firm made NT$3.3 billion ($101 million), and shipped 75,000 large panels (up 73.3% QoQ and 8.3% YoY). Small- to medium-size panel shipments were up 14.1% QoQ and 8.4% YoY, to 36.3 million units.
Revenues fell at Foxconn, down 8.4% MoM and 2.1% YoY to NT$295.4 billion ($9.1 billion). This fall was mainly down to a ‘significant’ fall in consumer electronics shipments. Year-to-date revenues were down 5.6% YoY, to NT$1.6 trillion ($49.4 billion).
Consolidated revenues rose 18.3% MoM and 6.4% YoY for Hannstar Display. The firm reported NT$1.4 billion ($43.2 million) in sales and shipped 217,000 panels for use in monitors (up 112.6% MoM), as well as 24.1 million small- and medium-size panels (up 9.5% MoM).
