Digitimes Research predicts that global all-in-one (AIO) PC shipments will see stronger growth in 2018. The ratio of AIO to desktop PC shipments will also continue to increase. The company also estimates that Dell and especially Lenovo will perform better than their competitors.
In 2017, most manufacturers saw their AIO PC business grow, except Lenovo, which was pipped to first place by Apple. Meanwhile, TPV-Inventa Technology withdrew from the sector altogether, prompting the company’s ODM clients to transfer their business to its competitors.
This year, Dell and HP will transfer most of their orders to Quanta Computer and Pegatron, which will see particularly strong growth in its AIO PC shipments, according to Digitimes.
