Steam is now expecting to start shipping the Steam Link in Europe from the 10th of November (Valve Streams Games Cheaply, Provides Console Release Date). It has also said that the Link will not work with Apple Mac systems initially. Steam has also announced the Steam Controller which will be available from December and is designed to be used with the system although other controllers can be used. Steam recommends wired ethernet, but the system does support 802.11ac with 2×2 mimo aerials. The Link can support 1080P graphics at 60fps over HDMI to a TV.
