Spend Less Time on the Phone and More With Children

Reg Bailey, chief executive of UK charity Mother’s Union, has said that British parents are some of the most likely in Europe to neglect their children. Bailey cited a Unicef study, examining the behaviour of families from the UK, Spain and Sweden. He said that parents are letting ‘screens take over’ family time. The spread of mobile devices is lowering the amount of face-to-face time between parents and children.
