The Artillery of Segovia military academy in Spain has introduced a new type of simulator, in collaboration with Norwegian projection company Norxe and Spanish AV integrator Ingevideo SA, according to Invidis.
Tecnobit’s camp artillery simulator SIMACA uses Norxe P1 single-chip DLP LED projector, which features a WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600) and a 16:10 aspect ratio.
The equipment provides higher brightness and resolution compared to the academy’s previous equipment and also features an infra-red light channel, enabling students to partake in night-vision training programmes.
