Sony Plans Bett Attendance

Sony has announced what it will be showing at Bett 2016 (20th – 23rd January, London), the European education technology show. The primary focus will be on the use of technology to engage students and encourage faster learning and greater collaboration.

Sony’s stand (F240) will be divided into six areas:

The Visual Learning area will be set up as a modern classroom. It will be used to showcase the VPL-SW635C UST interactive projector, controlled by Sony Xperia tablets and a 43″ UltraHD Bravia professional display, with HTML5 support.

A section designed to look like a lecture theatre will focus on Sony’s interactive presentation solution, Vision Presenter. This tool amalgamates content sources to create presentations. Video, still images, Powerpoint slides and more can be combined. At Bett, Sony will show Vision Presenter on its VPL-FHZ65 laser projector.

The FW-55X8570C signage display will be shown in the smart signage area. The screen will use the TDM Digital Signage software, which can be used to create content and send it to one or more displays. This will also be used in the distance learning zone, with the Ubicast solution.

In the ‘monitor and protect’ zone, Sony will show off its newest surveillance cameras. Finally, the ‘power of touch’ area will be used to demonstrate two of Sony’s interactive displays: the FWL-75W855C and FW-65X8570C.
