9to5 Mac reports that the Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun has identified Sony as the likely supplier of OLED microdisplays for a new Apple AR headset. The site reports that there are expected to be two models, one for gaming that also supports VR, but also a ‘sleeker pair of glasses’.
What We Think
It would be surprise if Apple was not talking to Sony. I have heard from more than one customer of Sony that the firm’s microOLED clearly have the best image quality. (BR)
