Silicon Labs’ new Si2151 and Si2141 are the sixth-generation of the company’s TV tuner ICs. Developed for the global hybrid TV and digital TV markets, they support digital and analogue broadcasts and comply with both terrestrial and cable TV standards.
The tuners are especially suited for use in the Chinese market, as they comply fully with the country’s GB/T 26686-2011 general specification for digital TV tuners. They also exceed the minimum performance requirements for the GB/T 26686-2011 specification by ‘a significant margin’.
