Screen Innovations has built a projection screen for the International Space Station – which has been taken up and installed already. The first-ever screen-in-the-stars is a 65″ unit, reflecting ambient light and developed to work in zero gravity. It replaces the 13″ tablet-sized displays that were being used to communicate with Mission Control and uses SI’s Slate material. And the first film watched on the screen? What else but Gravity?
