S[Quadrat] of Schwanstetten near Nuremberg, Germany, said that it has supplied a shopping centre on Posthausen, near Bremen, with a new LED wall with 90 m² of V4 LEDs. The brightness is 8,000 cd/m² and the wall has sensors to adjust brightness to compensate for ambient conditions. The software also monitors temperature to power off the display if it goes out of range. The video wall is 16cm deep.
The company said that it has also supplied a number of meeting room displays with 1.5mm pitch LED displays in collaboration with its partner, NEC Display Solutions. The displays supplied support 14 bit colour and are designed to have a total depth of 26cm, with room behind the 9cm screen modules for air circulation.
